The National Road is full of quirky country homes and hobbies. This home off a section of the old National pike east of Zanesville, Ohio is loaded with Marlin bird houses. These birds are difficult to coax into living quarters, but once you have them, they keep insect populations at bay and they're very entertaining to watch.
